How does Mukako work?

On Mukako you can make purchases for you and your baby very easily via smartphone or computer and the products will be delivered to your home!

 

With just a few clicks, you can discover our Mutable collection: the multi-activity table, toys, accessories and much more! You’ll have them delivered at home in just a few days.

What is and where can I buy the MUtable and MUtable accessories?

MUtable is the evolutionary multi-activity table that grows with your children thanks to its 4 table heights.

 

You can order all MUtable products directly from our website at www.mukako.com

What ages was MUtable designed for?

MUtable was designed for children from 1 to 8 years old and is tested for independent use by children ages 3 and up.

What is the weight limit for the chairs?

Our chairs have been tested as children’s furniture, with a maximum weight of 50 kg.

 

However, they are made of wood and, therefore, very solid and sturdy!

Is MUtable PVC, BPA, and phthalate - free?

MUtable is made of wood and the paint is NON-toxic. So, yes! MUtable is 100% free of PVC, BPA, and phthalate.

What is included with the MUtable?

The MUtable includes 4 double-sided playboards:

 

  • Bricks Bases compatible with Lego Classic & Duplo – bricks not included
  • Blackboard & Whiteboard ideal for writing & drawing and easy to clean – dry-erase boards and chalk not included

PURCHASES

How do I make a purchase?

After choosing the product you wish to purchase, follow these step:

 

  • You will be directed to a page where you can decide to either proceed to checkout or continue shopping
  • Click on the button "Buy Now" to add your product/s in the cart
  • If you prefer to browse the website a little more, you can always proceed to the checkout by clicking on the cart icon at the top right
  • At checkout, you will find a summary of your order. To confirm it, you’ll have to enter your shipping information and to choose a method of payment.
Do I need to register in order to make a purchase?

Yes, to complete your order and go ahead with the payment, you must register: you have only to enter name, surname, email address and password at the checkout. This will allow you to create an account where you will find your order details and discount vouchers.  

 

Without registering, you can browse our website and choose your favorite.

 

If you activate your personal area, you can also create your Wish List, make purchases from the list at any time and receive updates and promotional information.

What should I do if my purchase is a gift?

Our orders are always shipped without an invoice. If you wish to receive an invoice for your order, please refer to the question "How can I request an invoice".

 

Currently, we do not offer gift-wrapping or personalized cards with an order; therefore, we advise you to inform the gift recipient after completing your order, so that they do not reject the delivery.

What warranty do you offer for your products?

All the products we sell are covered by the European standard manufacturer's warranty which covers 2 years for private customers and 1 year for customers who purchase with a VAT number.

 

You can always find the order receipt by logging in to your account. The order receipt serves as the proof of purchase for the warranty.

 

If a product is defective you can contact us at support@mukako.com and we will help you resolve the issue according to our internal procedure or the one provided by the third-party product vendor for their warranty.

How can I change or cancel my order?

Get in touch with us at support@mukako.com and we are at your disposal if you want to change or cancel your order.

 

However, please consider that we cannot change an order once it has been transferred to the warehouse.

ACCOUNT

How can I login to my account?

If you have already registered, you can login to your account by clicking on “My Account” found on the bar at the top right.

 

Once you have entered your email address and password and clicked on “My Account” you can return to the Login button where you will now find your name. By clicking on the button again you will be able to enter your account.

What should I do if I forget my password?

No problem: just click on “MyAccount” (top right) and choose the "Forgot Password" option.

 

You will receive an email with a link where you will be able to assign a new password to your account.

How can I change the email address for my account?

Changing your email address is quick and easy:

 

  • Login to your account and go to the section "Personal Profile" and click "Edit"
  • A new window will open, where you can edit your Name, Surname and e-mail address

 

Once you have modified your e.mail, you have to login again into your account.

NEWSLETTER

Is it free to sign-up for the newsletter?

Of course! Subscribing to our newsletter is free and allows you to stay up to date on our promotions and to receive vouchers and useful information on your child's development.

How can I cancel my subscription to the newsletter?

Your subscription can be cancelled at any time. You have two ways to do it:

 

  • Log in into your Personal Profile and click on "Manage Newsletter"
  • on the bottom of the Newsletter that you have received, click on "Do you want to unsubscribe?"

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

In what case can I request a return and reimbursement for my order?

If you are not satisfied with your order you can return it and request a refund within the first 14 days after the delivery date.

 

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please refer to the question "What should I do if I receive a damaged or defective product?"

 

You can only return products that are in their original condition with all their accessories and the original packaging.

How can I request a refund?

All you need to do is send us the return request to support@mukako.com and follow the instructions for returning the product.

How do returns work?

The items you wish to return must be in their original condition and internal warping properly packaged.

 

It is necessary to use the same cardboard packaging in which the product was received.

How much will I be refunded and how long will it take?

You have the right to a full refund if the product is returned is in its original condition.

 

Unless the product is faulty or not as described, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.

 

Once the item is returned to the warehouse and undergoes an integrity check, MUKAKO will refund you as soon as possible, and in any event within 14 days after the day on which we receive the product back from you.

 

It may take a few days to see the refund on your bank statement or PayPal account.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or defective product?

If you receive a damaged or defective product, you can simply contact us at support@mukako.com.

 

Into the mail, you have to insert:

 

  • order number
  • details about the damage/defect
  • attach a picture/video about the product and the packaging

 

We'll contact you within 48 working hours in order to help you.

I received my order but an item ( or items) is missing or defective, what are the terms for reporting?

Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to verify that the ordered products are included and are all intact and present in the packaging.


Should you find out that a product is incomplete, defective or completely missing, you must immediately report the situation via email to support@mukako.com indicating the order number, the date of delivery and the product in question.

PAYMENTS

What methods of payment do you accept?

MUKAKO offers many payment options: credit card, pre-paid credit card, PayPal.

 

Payment security is our priority; therefore, your information will be encrypted.

Can I use the payment method “Cash on Delivery”? 

The Cash on Delivery option is only available in Italy.

Are there additional costs for different payment methods?

No, you won’t have any additional cost to purchase your order.

If I don't have the 3D Secure Code to pay with card, how can I proceed?

If your credit card does not have a 3D Secure Code (password enabled for online purchases), you can still pay using Paypal: it's accessible also if you don't have a registered account and it uses other secure systems.

 

Follow these steps:

 

1) Select PayPal as your method of payment into the dedicated section

 

2) On the PayPal page, choose the option to continue the payment with the card

 

3) Enter your credit card information and complete your purchase

 

My credit card payment was refused. What can I do?

If you have already verified that the amount on your credit / prepaid card is sufficient for your purchase and that your card has 3D Secure Code enabled, write to support@mukako.com or contact us on LiveChat.

If the problem concerns enabling 3D Secure Code, please follow the instructions in the question "If I don't have 3D Secure Code to pay by card, how can I proceed?"

Can I make a bank transfer?

No, at the moment it’s not possible to pay with bank transfers.

How can I request an invoice?

When completing your purchase with a business account, you can request an invoice by sending us an e-mail to support@mukako.com. You only need to provide us with your VAT information.

 

The invoice will be issued as soon as possible.

How can I be sure that my payment has been successful?

At the moment of the checkout, please wait until the “Thank You Page” appears to confirm that your order has been successful.

 

If you’re not sure about your payment status, please first check your personal account where you can see all the details of your order.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Are there any additional costs to consider?

For all shipments in European Union countries, there are no additional costs related to the method of payment or other charges. 

In the case of extra-EU shipments (eg Switzerland or Norway), we remind you that the Italian VAT is not included in our prices on the site.
You will also need to consider that the customs fees may vary, so if necessary we advise you to inquire with the local customs office before ordering as we are not liable for any  VAT or custom charges you may incur. 

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping is free on orders above 99€ (199 CHF/€ for Switzerland, Norway; 135£ for United Kingdom).

Otherwise, the shipping fee varies depending on your country:

Europe (ex. CH, NW, UK)     9,90€
Switzerland & Norway         39 CHF/ €
United Kingdom                  40 £

When will my order be shipped?

Every page shows the detail estimated shipping times for each product, which depends on the type of product or manufacturer.

MUKAKO ships daily (on working days) at 15.30/3:30 pm! So if a product indicates "ships in 24h" and is placed before 15.30/3.30 pm it will be shipped the same day, otherwise the next day.


What are the delivery times?

In general, deliveries in EU Countries are made within 5-10 weekdays of the shipping date.

 

For smaller islands, delivery is not guaranteed because it depends on the courier service available in that area. 

Which courier you use and where do you ship from?

Shipments are made via the courier GLS or DHL and depart from our central warehouse in Varese.

How can I check the status of my order?

To check the status of your order, you can login to your account and click on the section "Orders" where you will see a list of your order history. There, it is possible to view individual order details. 

How can I track my shipment?

All orders are shipped with a tracking code, which the courier will send to you as soon as they take over your shipment from our warehouse. 

How can I change my shipping address?

Enter your account under the section “Orders” and you can change the shipping address. Remember, if your order is being already being processed it is better to contact us at support@mukako.com 

DISCOUNT VOUCHERS

How can I get a discount voucher?

To get discount vouchers, just invite your friends to make a purchase on Mukako!

 

After completing your purchase, you will be able to access the section “Invite a friend” via the link on your order confirmation page or directly in your account. 

How can I use my discount voucher?

You can use your discount voucher by applying it at the checkout.

 

Your discount vouchers are usually visible at the checkout underneath the order summary. To apply a discount voucher, just click on "Apply".

 

If your discount voucher is not visible at the checkout, simply input the discount code in the discount voucher field under the order summary and click on the small arrow in order to apply the discount.

What are the terms and conditions of the discount vouchers?

Each discount voucher has specific terms and conditions: check them into the referred mail that you have received.

Can I use more than one discount voucher at a time?

Discount vouchers cannot be used in combination with sales and promotions. You can only apply one discount voucher to each order.
